Professor Irena Yashin-Shaw is an international educator, academic, author and entrepreneur who has dedicated her working life to the liberation of human potential. With a PhD in creative problem-solving and a Masters in Adult Education, she brings a combination of deep academic knowledge, real-world entrepreneurial experience and skilled education practice to her work – which is to harness the vast reservoir of untapped talent within workplaces. Her mission is to empower people to use their creativity and intrapreneurial talent to solve complex problems which create value in their organisations and beyond.

Apart from being the Founder and CEO of the Global Intrapreneurs Institute, her other current roles include Visiting Global Professor at The Ohio State University; postgraduate lecturer for Corporate Entrepreneurship and Change at Griffith University; visiting lecturer in Agile Leadership for the German Jordanian University in collaboration with The International Business Agility Institute; Advisory Board Member for the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation at Griffith University;  Editor–in-Chief for Intrapreneur Magazine; Founder and organiser of the Global Intrapreneurs Summit and Awards Ceremony. Her most recent books are INTRAPRENEUR and Leading in the innovation age which draw on her vast experience of working with people in many different environments who are tasked with leading change and transformation in our current disrupted times.

Louise is a highly experienced intrapreneurial leader. In 2000, she left a stable job in Denmark for an uncertain French adventure and ended up at Airbus by way of L’Oreal. She wrote a paper leading to the creation of a new job within Airbus and her appointment to it in Silicon Valley. Louise inspired the engineering powerhouse to disrupt itself before others do, starting with the mindset of each individual.

As part of the team responsible for launching Airbus’s Innovation Center and Ventures, Louise managed new injections of innovation leadership practices and tools in the Airbus DNA through her work with Singularity University, XPrize, SolveNext, and others. She instigated the Dream Big innovation initiative, inviting all employees to help shape Airbus’ future and became the VP of Intrapreneurship. With a deeply ingrained entrepreneurial spirit, pioneer and risktaker, Louise recently left VMware as VP Global People Development to explore her next adventure.

Her current role sees her working at the intersection of leadership, culture and innovation to enable a world better led.

Gaurav Kataria is Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) at Sai Life Sciences, a leading CRO-CDMO providing drug discovery, development and manufacturing services to innovator pharma companies and biotechs worldwide. In his role as CDIO, Gaurav is responsible for driving the organization’s digital and IT strategy in line with Sai’s vision and global growth aspirations. He is also responsible for cyber security for the company.

In a career spanning over 22 years, Gaurav has rich experience across digital transformation, consulting, sales, marketing, and strategy. Prior to Sai Life Sciences, Gaurav was at Cyient responsible for formulating the digital strategy, building digtal products and delivering digital solutions for its Aerospace and Defense customers globally. He was also the Global Chief Information Officer overseeing the IT strategy with a focus on adopting technology to drive business process change.  He has been a mentor to start-ups, and an invited member of the Confederation of Indian Industries National Innovation Committee. Gaurav holds an engineering degree with a Masters of Sciences (MS) from BITS, Pilani and executive business education from Harvard Business School.

Sameel is an intrapreneur, entrepreneur and QUT Business (Management) and Communication (Journalism) Student. He is engaging, curious, and teams-focused, having leadership experience as 2021 School Captain, 2020 Service-Learning Captain and 2020 Interact President at St Paul’s School in Brisbane.

As an intrapreneur, Sameel enjoys bringing his entrepreneurial toolkit to organisations to boost creativity, innovation and results whether that’s at his part-time job, or at university. As an entrepreneur, he owns a hobby gardening business named ‘Flourishing Botanics’ with a mission to solve the problem of gifts with ongoing value, without any attachment to age, gender or lifestyle. Sameel also loves learning about all things intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship, business and journalism!

Mike is Head of Marketing and General Operations at LexX Technologies a global digital intelligence firm for maintenance. He is a globally recognised veteran within the aviation industry who sees the opportunity now for the industry to take a different look at how it operates. His goal is to make aviation, (with the help of industry leaders), more efficient, more cost effective, and most importantly, safer for everyone.
